At first glance, Oklahoma City’s sales numbers look pretty good this year. For homes listed since January 1st 2011, those that sold were on the market an average of 44 days! That’s numbers close to the doo-dah days of yesteryear!
But now, the rest of the story…
That 44 day average represents homes that were listed and sold under that MLS number. What about the homes that haven’t sold? Unfortunately those home account for 47% of homes listed between January 1st and June 19th (44 days ago). Last year 54% of homes listed failed to sell. #fail
What’s that mean for you the seller?
If you and your neighbor both put your home up for sale, odds are one of you won’t sell your home. Your home had better: 1) Look Better, 2) Be Priced Better, and 3) Be Marketed Better.
One of you won’t sell!
