Oklahoma City Real Estate 2011 Highs and Lows
One of the more popular posts I began last year was a look through the Oklahoma City MultiList (MLS) and see the highs and lows for the year.
In 2011, 15,754 residential properties sold on the MLS. This compares to 15,131 sold in 2010 and 16,881 in 2009. However, we’re still off 23% from the peak sales years of 2005 and 2006.
MOST EXPENSIVE HOME – Oklahoma City Real Estate
$2,895,000 14925 Gaillardia Lane Oklahoma City in Gaillardia. This is up over a half million dollars from 2010. This beautiful 8,066 square foot home sits on .84 acre lot and was built in 2007. The home has 5 beds and 6½ baths. This home closed on September 21, 2011. It was on the market only 37 days.
HIGHEST PRICE PER FOOT – Oklahoma City Real Estate

LONGEST ON THE MARKET – Oklahoma City Real Estate
1,370 Days 937 Timber Crossing Blanchard. That’s over 4 years counting the 6 months it was on the market before. It sold for 76% of the original list price!
LARGEST HOME – Oklahoma City Real Estate
9,485 Square Feet 439 NW 15th St | Heritage Hills | Oklahoma City. This historic home sold for $1,495,000 or $126/ft. It was on the market 164 days and closed on November 1, 2011.
SMALLEST HOME — Oklahoma City Real Estate
400 Square Feet 10901 S Lakewood Drive in Guthrie. The home is on 2½ acres. This home has 2 beds and 1 bath (I don’t know how!). It was listed and sold for $25,900 on August 12, 2011.
GREATEST OVERBID – Oklahoma City Real Estate
$77,000 427 NW 14th St | Heritage Hills| Oklahoma City. The home was listed at $649,000 and sold for $726,000. This home closed on February 2, 2011.
GREATEST AMOUNT UNDER ORIGINAL LIST PRICE – Oklahoma City Real Estate
$3,000,000 6432 E Coffee Creek Rd Edmond. Originally on the market at $4,500,000, this property sold for $1,500,000 on March 4, 2011.
So there you have it! This is not a scientific study, but it is fun to look at. The highs and lows of Oklahoma City real estate for 2011.
