Heritage Hills is not an addition per se, rather a group of six additions who united in 1969 to form the first Historic Preservation District in Oklahoma City. The plats of these additions were filed between 1900 and 1910. Many original OKC leaders and future leaders chose this area to build their homes. There are 367 homes within the district and 97% of those were built before 1930. The largest home in Oklahoma City is located in Heritage Hills. It is the Hales Mansion spanning over 20,000 square feet. The most well-known home in Heritage Hills is the Overholser Mansion and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It is open to the public for guided tours. Heritage Hills is located between NW 13th Street and NW 23rd Street and between Robinson on the east and Classen Blvd on the west. This location is just north of downtown Oklahoma City so all that downtown, midtown, and uptown have to offer, is easy access from Heritage Hills.
