9. Custom website for the home. We acquire a domain (e.g. www.1234mainstreet.com) for the home and create a single-property-website for the home. This is a comprehensive site with photos, detailed descriptions, maps, schools, documents and more. This site can be worked on and enhanced both before and after the listing goes live. If you are active in social media (Facebook / Twitter, etc.), the link to the domain can be used to market the home to your own network. The more distribution the better!
We use RealBird for our single property websites. Not only do the provide a great website for your property, they also syndicate throughout major real estate websites across the internet. In addition to that, when I create it and then press the ‘Like’ button a fan page is created on Facebook for the property. A great way for myself and the seller to spread the information throughout our social circles.
