El Reno

El Reno is located at the intersection of two historic highways, nostalgic Route 66 and the Chisholm Trail (Highway 81), in the heart of the Canadian River Valley.

Even though it was not chartered until 1889, the beginnings of El Reno and the surrounding area was much earlier.

El Reno is rich in historic structures. In the city limits there are currently 11 properties and 2 areas listed on the National Register of Historic Places. In addition, our inventory of historic homes is incredible.
