St. James A.M.E. Church (Portion built in 1937 of local Oklahoma rock)
Visit the St. James African Methodist Episcopal Church at 700 N. Main Street in Arcadia. As the Church grew and it was time to expanded the facility in 1994, the congregation chose to preserve the original building that was built in 1937. They wanted to preserve this rich part of the history; a building constructed by local artisans from local Oklahoma sand rock that was transported to the current site by horse and wagon.
1903 Methodist Church
The Old Methodist Church located at the corner of 4th and Lee Streets was restored by the Arcadia Historical Society and is typical of the one-room, frame structures that was built around the turn of the century in small communities of the West for worship. The white, wood frame building with wooden pews and a small steeple takes a visitor back to the simpler days of 1903. The Old Methodist Church has been the location of several weddings.
Victorian House on 2nd Street (Ruble Home)
The Ruble House - is a 3 story Victorian house that is just stunning, Painted a lively, sunshine yellow with brown trim, this remarkable house stands out as one of Arcadia\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s architectural marvels.
