September 2009 marks the OKC Home Sellers Team 10th anniversary representing Bill Roberts Building Company. We feel so privileged to have been given this opportunity. I know it’s unusual. I’ve tried to find statistics on how long realtors and builders work together, couldn’t find any but know it’s quite unusual to go 10 years.
During this 10 years we’ve sold literally hundreds of Roberts homes, and have now lived in a Bill Roberts home for 10 years. This has allowed us to make many, many good friends in both Edinburgh and Muirfield Village. We’ve learned that Bill is not only a great builder with tremendous vision, but a great person as well. We regard him as a friend as well as a partner in business. Bill has remained very loyal to us.
We’ve assisted in buying land, learning the development process and literally selling dirt. You haven’t really been in real estate until you’ve sold a home while painting a verbal picture of lushness, while showing red clay and blowing dust!
The builder/realtor relationship is much like a marriage, ‘for better or worse’. Well, during this decade we’ve experienced the best of times and the worst or times. We’re still hoping and praying that the worst is over now!
