Construction has recently begun on a new plan in Muirfield Village. This plan, as all others, is a design by Brent Gibson Home Design.

The Oakhollow plan is a corner lot plan and has 3,070 square feet on one level. The Oakhollow addresses we’ve received from clients for a 3 bedroom home on one level and a 3 car garage. The plan is open and has an angled living room, formal dining room and study. The kitchen and breakfast area are also quite open. There’s a nice size master suite that includes a his and hers walk in closets.

The home is currently framed and sheetrock is going up. If you’d like to come out you can see for yourself what the floor plan is like. Completion is estimated in December.

Muirfield Village, Edmond OK, Holds Community Picnic & Drive-in Movie

Sunday evening, June 6, 2010, the Muirfield Village residents held an old-fashioned picnic in the park followed by an outdoor movie (hosted by yours truly).

The weather could not have been more perfect! Thank you Gary England!

Hosting the event were Pat Hoge with Bill & Charlene Wilson – the ownership team of Paradigm AdvantEdge.

The hosts provided fried chicken from Rooster’s in Bricktown. The residents brought all the standard picnic fare.

The outdoor movie was a hit and now we’re planning some concerts in the park. It’s wonderful to be able to just walk across the street to have events like this!

The Muirfield Village Gazebo in November Morning Fog

What’s a neighborhood without a gazebo? Well we have our own here in Muirfield Village. And nothing says European feel without the fog.

This is a nice complement to our greenbelt with its’ gardens, walking paths, and lawns. A nice place to stop and visit with the neighbors or enjoy a glass of wine.

Wouldn’t this be a great setting for a wedding?

I spent some time this morning trying on Google to find another neighborhood that has its’ own conservatory for the residents to winter their plants. I couldn’t find any. Muirfield Village now has its’ own. It was finished this spring and now the residents plants are beginning to move in for their first winter. The conservatory is a very tranquil place to come and sit, read a book or maybe enjoy a glass of wine. Before the plants moved in, we’ve used this for small parties.
